UCLan recognised for pioneering work in China
The University of Central Lancashire’s pioneering work in China has been recognised at a prestigious awards ceremony.
UCLan was a finalist in the educational links category of the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) Greater China Awards, which took place recently in Manchester. The UKTI Greater China Awards honour any company or organisation in the North West which has made a significant contribution to developing business or relationships with mainland China, Taiwan or Hong Kong during 2015.
UCLan’s entry focused on its successful UK outward mobility scheme ‘Journey to the East’ between Lancashire Business School and key partners in Beijing, Shanghai, and Fuzhou. Successful students are given the opportunity to travel to one of the partners to liaise with Chinese students on different cultural sessions to enhance their skills and learn more about business in China.
