UCLan MBBS School Tour

Just as we are about to welcome new and returning students from the Middle East at UCLan, I am busy planning an exciting event in the UAE. As you are probably aware we have recently launched a new MBBS programme at the university and due to the level of enquires we have had from the UAE, UCLan will be visiting the Dubai in September to meet with students who are considering a career in Medicine.

We currently planning lots of activity: school visits; agent visits; speaking to current offer holders; speaking to medical authorities.

We also have one exciting session, where students will be able to have the opportunity to meet with the team from the Medical Programme. This is a great opportunity for students who are still considering which university to applying to, before the 15th October, the UCAS application  deadline.

The session will guide you through what you need to know before applying; from a discussion of why Medicine might be the course and career for you; to the curriculum offered on our MB BS programme; to the application process. The sessions will be hosted by Dr Andy Ginty. Dr Ginty currently oversees all aspects of the Human Anatomy Resource and Learning Centre. He will also be accompanied by Sue Elwood, who will be able to guide students through the application process.

This is a unique session, were you  will have exclusive access to an academic medical team, who can help you focus on the application process and will genuinely fuel your passion for health education.
