UCLan attend the China Stidy Abroad Forum in Beijing

The Group Chief Executive Officer and Vice Presidents was asked by the Chinese Service Centre of Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) to give key-note address to the China Study Aboard Forum Held in Beijing last month (March).

The conference was attended by key officials from the Ministry of Higher Education and deans of CSCSE training centre throughout China. These centres are dedicated to preparing students who are looking to undertake their studies overseas. UCLan is working closely with key officials of CSCSE and Deans of the training centres as we move forward to establish some dedicated routes into UCLan schools such as Sport,Tourism and the Outdoors, Lancashire Business School and Languages, Literature and International Studies.

This buildings on the work undertaken early in the year, when UCLan hosted a dedicated conference for senior staff from CSCSE to learn about UCLan and the wide range of courses on offer at the Preston campus. The event was support by UCLan schools as we look to increase the number of students choosing UCLan as their preferred study destination.
