UCLan in Bulgaria
Edlnata, one of the University of Central Lancashire’s Bulgarian representatives arranged for Jonny Hill (Regional Marketing Officer – EU) to visit 4 schools in the capital city, Sofia and two smaller towns, Pernik and Pravets.
Jonny and two Edlanta representatives Emil and Boryana gave presentations about UCLan and studying at University. The seminars were a great success with around 30-40 students attending at each school. It was an excellent opportunity to see what school life is like in Bulgaria and to meet such great students. Most of the students were multilingual with languages including English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese and of course Bulgarian.
Whilst in Bulgaria our colleagues ensured we had time to delve into the Bulgarian cultures and visit some historical and fascinating parts of the country.
We look forward visiting Bulgaria again in the near future and welcoming new students to UCLan.
