Tallin and Tartu, Estonia, November 2013
Day One – Thursday 21st November.
The stunning National Library of Estonia was the setting for the first exhibition of British Education and Career 2013.
Estonia’s main library was the perfect location for UCLan and a further 20 universities across the UK and Europe, to meet Estonian and Russian students interesting in studying for a degree abroad.
Alex Haydock represented UCLan and was delighted to meet so many good students with subject interest ranging from the arts, business, computing and medicine.
Day Two – Friday 22nd November
Tartu University library hosted UCLan and the other representative for day two of the exhibition. Again the academic setting was a fitting back-drop for meeting potential students, some of whom of travelled from across the city and beyond to meet us.
After the exhibition, the group took a four hour coach journey across the border into Latvia, and the exhibition will take place at the Radison Blu, Riga, for the next two days.
