Oman – December 2012

I thought I’d begin 2013 with a look back at my last, and possibly favourite, trip of 2012 – Oman. After three days of exhibitions meeting potential UCLan students in Muscat, a late flight meant I had time to visit Nizwa very early on Friday morning, before prayers. The livestock souk was a sight to see! The architecture of the Grand Mosque in Muscat, just 11 years old, was stunning and Oman’s rocky terrain as breathtaking as when I first saw it back in 2007.  A fantastic opportunity to enjoy a little bit of this beautiful country. I hope 2013 brings lots more opportunities to explore the world!

Happy new year to all!
